If you’ve tried everything your doctor recommends but nothing seems to be working to get you feeling healthy again then this program could be for you.
Have you been told by your doctor you have COPD or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease? That's emphysema, chronic bronchitis and chronic asthma. Or have you been struggling with shortness of breath, cough or phlegm or have frequent exacerbations (when your symptoms require medical intervention)?
Are you struggling with your everyday routines and feeling frustrated that you can't do the things you used to do? Are you feeling isolated or sad that your lifestyle has changed?
I know how you feel!
I have struggled to breathe my whole life. I've had asthma since age 3, mostly due to my parents smoking in the home, which back them wasn't frowned upon. I had 3 different pneumonias growing up that scarred my lungs and almost held me back a grade in school. I was even steroid dependent as a child. Even with all the meds I still struggled to breathe. Then most of my adult life I struggled annually with chronic bronchitis I've been on tons of medication,
Do you see what I mean?
I made it my life work to research everything I could about breathing issues because I no longer wanted to live the way I was living.
So I sought alternative therapies from acupuncture to chiropractic and am always seekling alternative solutions.
Carol is a retired Respiratory Therapist with 41 years in healthcare in Eau Claire and the last 15 worked exclusively with persons with COPD. I can tell you I've done all the research
While 25% of those 45-64 years of age struggle with COPD only 2% seek medical help and decide to "tough it out" or search the internet for answers. Your doctor will provide you with inhalers and recommend you stay active, but very few offer specific ways for you to manage your lung disease.

Designed to cover all the basic western medicine strategies, FIT2Breathe! also offers an eastern medicine perspective which includes how to relax using qigong, meditation and acupressure self-care points.
The program includes:
